Camp Peniel provides special time of relaxation, rejuvenation, and bonding. Groups minister to each other in the name of Christ. Families grow closer as they play and worship together. Excellent Bible teachers bring new insights from God’s Word. Trail rides, breakfast cookouts, and campfires shape lasting memories. We are all on a faith journey and our weekends allow you the time to think about your life and about what God wants for you personally. For two days, you will have all of your needs taken care of while being in the company of others. This weekend is free of chores, work and family duties, and filled with great food and friendship. Some special activities have also been planned which serve as a pleasant change of pace.
Pull back from the world a couple of days and enjoy God’s creation. Most retreats begin with a light dinner Friday evening between the hours of 6:30 and 7:30 with activities starting around 8:30 PM and end 11:00 AM on Sunday.

When’s the last time you sang some good ol’ fashioned camp songs? Sit back and relax, or take a nap. Choose any of the the activities offered: fishing, canoeing, crafts, archery, riflery, shopping/sightseeing adventures or spread you wings on our zip line! It’s the perfect time of the year to view a variety of beautiful wildflowers in our Hill Country area. Enjoy delicious food, good friends and great Bible teaching. This camp if specifically designed for those ages 50 and above.
