What to Expect at Saddle Camp
This week is all about diving deeper into the world of horsemanship and having a blast while doing it. Campers will get to experience:
- Daily riding time to build confidence and improve technique
- Hands-on grooming and horse care to learn responsibility and bond with their horse
- Creative horse-themed games and activities
- Fun, interactive worksheets to reinforce what they’re learning in and out of the saddle
- Time to just be with the horses—brushing, leading, observing, and connecting
We love how this extra time allows us to be creative, flexible, and intentional with each camper’s experience. Whether your child is already horse-crazy or just curious, Saddle Camp is a space where they can explore, grow, and feel empowered.
Horse Safety
Camp Peniel uses the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) standards for the outline of our program. Our instructor is Certified through CHA in both English and Western riding. All campers and instructors must wear a helmet while riding and campers are always supervised by our barn staff. Barn staff must pass our Child Safety Course and have a clean background check.
