June 2025 Tuesday Update

Temps are in the low 90’s and we’ve received some significant rain over the last week…including today! Summer camp is off and running and we’re excited to see how God will change lives over the coming weeks! Hope you are doing well on this Tuesday!

Have you ever had days where you get tired of experiencing the same challenges over and over? How about investing time and effort into a person’s life not being able to see any fruit coming from it? If you read through Jeremiah, you will find the obedient prophet sharing the upcoming judgement that the nation of Israel will experience due to their disobedience and evil ways. In seemingly every chapter God is explaining how He will bring destruction on Jerusalem and His people because of their blatant rejection of Him despite the many warnings. “Listen! I am going to bring on this city and the villages around it every disaster I pronounced against them, because they were stiff-necked and would not listen to My words.” (Jer. 19:15b) Even though God allowed Jerusalem to be destroyed, He also promised that there would be a remnant that He would leave behind. Even through the challenging times of life God remains faithful. If you are facing challenges or discouragement look to the example of Jeremiah who, despite the sorrow that he had for how God had to discipline His people, understood the faithfulness and love of the Lord.  God has a plan for every aspect of our lives (yes, even the hard stuff) and uses it to build our confidence in Him, our obedience to His Word, and trust in His will for us. “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning, great is Thy faithfulness. I say to myself, ‘The Lord is my portion, therefore I will wait for Him.’” Lamentations 3:22-24

We had a great Family Fun Day last month on Memorial Day afternoon! We saw close to 350 people take part and it was a wonderful community event! Thank you to everyone who was able to help out and serve the families. “Our family looks forward to this every year! Thank you so much for all that you do!” -Family Fun Day Parent

Summer camp has begun and we would love to see your kiddos here! Registering your camper for Resident, Day, Adventure and/or Saddle Camp provides an opportunity for Eternal value as they experience the Lord in exciting ways! God changes lives at camp for a lifetime and we’d love to see that happen for them as we are Rescued (John 3:17) from death to life by Him this summer! Head to the website to register!

Scholarships are available for any of our programs throughout the year and we love making use of the incredible gifts people have given to bring campers of all ages to camp! Feel free to head to the website or email Savannah for more information about camperships for weekends and/or summer

Camp is excited for the launch of our new website this week! It will have a fun, new look but the needed information should be very visible & accessible. There will be a few areas that will be added to over the coming weeks but we’re looking forward to the needed update. Please feel free to let us know if you have questions as it is rolled out. Thanks to Abundant Designs for all of their creative expertise throughout the development process!

I have started our “Spotting the Savior” texts again this summer! If you would like to receive a text from me twice per week in the summer just giving a quick peek at how we are seeing the Savior work in the campers’/Work Crew’s/staff’s lives, please send me an email that includes your phone number & I’ll include you in my list. If you have signed up in previous years you will begin receiving those texts this month!

Below is a list of items that are needed at camp. If the Lord leads you to give any amount towards one or more of these needs, we would greatly appreciate it! Thank you so much!
