King's Daughters
When a girl makes a decision for Christ at camp, she continues to need help and encouragement in her spiritual growth after leaving camp. This realization led us to organize the Kings Daughters program designed to develop the whole personality of the girl, with the emphasis on the spiritual as indicated by its motto:
“The King’s daughter is all glorious within…”
Psalm 45:13
Through a definite advancement of ranks, the purpose of King’s Daughters is believed to be met. The various phases of the program cover such areas as Bible reading and memorization, hand- craft projects, nature studies, sports, outdoor camping, service projects, and other activities.
By the time a girl has reached the highest rank of Princess, she must, among other things, have read the entire Bible, memorized over 200 verses, worked on four service projects, and researched assigned subjects. Awards are given during a camp session or through a home club.
