SURVIVAL: This activity helps campers develop an appreciation of the interdependence of man and nature. Nature can provide what man needs if he is aware of his surroundings. The classes center on the three main requirements of survival - water, food, shelter and the next three important needs - fire, tools, signals. Through interactive instruction, skills are gained to bring confidence in a survival situation.
