Financial Information
Operating Fund
About 45% of the operating budget comes from donations. We believe motivation for all true giving comes as God moves the hearts of people. Our part is to inform and give opportunity without imposing undue obligation or pressure. It is our policy to honestly and accurately share with interested friends the challenges and situations we face in all areas of our ministry. We make known needs and potential solutions so friends can consider partnering with us through prayer and/or sharing financially as the Lord leads and enables.
Campership Fund
This fund is used for children who could not afford to come to camp. Just over $30,618.00 was given in the summer of 2010 enabling 100 children to attend camp who otherwise would not have been able to do so. No child is ever turned away due to the family's financial needs.
Acreage Purchase
At the request of our Board we have purchased 67 acres right behind our screen cabins. It was being used as an off-road track that attracts many noisy vehicles and invades the privacy of our cabins, and the solitude of camp meetings and Bible studies. We now need to raise $370,000 to payoff the note.
Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability
We recognize that donating is a step of faith in trusting that we will be faithful with your gift. Recognizing the trust involved with any donation, we want you to know that Camp Peniel is a member in good standing with the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA). The ECFA exists to “enunciate, maintain and manifest a code of financial accountability, ethics and reporting which is consistent with enlightened and responsible Christian faith and practice.” Membership in the ECFA is tangible evidence that a ministry adheres to the highest standards of Christian ethics in financial accounting and reporting.

Gifts can be made on a monthly or one time basis. You can use a Credit Card to make a financial contribution or we can set up an ABT (Automatic Bank Transfer) from your bank account. We accept checks and cash as well.
